LESSON 4 SPANISH ADVERBS

ADVERBS OF TIME:

       después........after         always.........siempre

         El coche está cerca (the car is near)
         mañana estaremos todos juntos (tomorrow we'll be all together)
        allí es donde está la casa de Pedro (there is where is the Peter's house)
         el libro está encima de la cama (the book is on the bed)
        ya es muy tarde     (it's so late)

  1. we use "encima" like "on" ex: encima de la mesa(on the table)we use arriba when somthing is above ex: tenemos que subir arriba(whe have to go upstairs or we have to go to the floor above)

    my today question is how about adverb of place ending with -ward such as; inward, backward, toward, homeward?
    oh and what is "across" = al otro lado?
    por ejemplo: it's across the river bank = ya es al atro lado el lecho del rio <-- es eso correcto??

  3. ops sorry! I have not seen your message the adverbs ending with ward in spanish are hacia + name example homeward=hacia casa on
