ReplyDeletewe use "encima" like "on" ex: encima de la mesa(on the table)we use arriba when somthing is above ex: tenemos que subir arriba(whe have to go upstairs or we have to go to the floor above)

ReplyDeletemy today question is how about adverb of place ending with -ward such as; inward, backward, toward, homeward?
oh and what is "across" = al otro lado?
por ejemplo: it's across the river bank = ya es al atro lado el lecho del rio <-- es eso correcto??
